Berlin: Berlinale: Bubbles & Beats | Austtellung

Architecture is more than just the art of building - it is movement, history and emotion. From February 14 - 23, Living Frames opens its doors at Living Berlin on the occasion of the Berlinale. Curated by Dokumentale, the exhibition explores the interplay between architecture, design and film.

Four rooms, curated in partnership with NOWNESS, Architectuul, Achtung Berlin and the Silver Frame Festival, present short films that illuminate our built environment from new and surprising angles. Stories by visionaries, places full of poetry, perspectives that resonate. From iconic landmarks to surreal gardens and experimental living environments, these films invite us to see architecture anew—as backdrop, as protagonist, and as a source of inspiration.

The exhibition is complemented by images by Thomas Platt from his series City Walks. The renowned journalist, screenwriter and artist combines color, image fragments and philosophy.

Join us on February 14, 2025 for Beats and Bubbles and the opening of this wonderful space that rethinks film, design and architecture.
