Why is the tech giant Stardust industries, that build the colony on Vesta this invested in this cave? Why are they connecting it to the oxygen system without properly investigating it first? Why does a guy, who is responsible for infrastructure and terrified of tight spaces leading a cave exploration project? Nobody is actually asking or interested in these questions, because there is a cave to explore! But as it turns out the answer to these all of the questions is: Axel messed up and feels very guilty.
